Make sure your arms bolts and brackets are secured and tight, to keep from having something break when your not around your lift.

Keep all your bushings in good condition so its smooth sailing taking your boat on an off your lift,
Hoses & Control Unit
Keep up with your hoses and valves, old hoses can cause leaks an bad valves can also cause leaks. A leaking lift could either cause damage to your boat or your lift depending on the lift.
